Join us for a special showing of "Hidden Figures" featuring a movie about NASA mathematicians Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) who cross gender and race lines to help launch astronaut John Glenn (Glen Powell) into outer space. This event is a joint fundraising effort with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Xi Tau Omega Chapter and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc Kansas City Alumnae Chapter. Proceeds support Scholarships and Other Service Projects. |
