10 Anniversary The Ebony Rose Scholarship & Awards Gala

NCBW-KC is a 501 c 3 Charitable Nonprofit Organization.

Dress Code: Formal or Black Tie. Please dress for the occasion. No need to worry about parking because it is FREE to gala guests.

Ticket Cost - $100 Early Bird Special until Oct.15th. Then cost is regular ticket price $125. Expected guests include adults, singles, couples, men and women.

The National Congress of Black Women, Inc. - Kansas City (NCBW-KC) cordially invites you to join us at our signature premier fundraising event,10th Anniversary The Ebony Rose Scholarship & Awards Gala as we celebrate, acknowledge, and appreciate our community members/organizations for the amazing work they do in Kansas City and award educational scholarships to high school graduating Seniors and adult students.

We are ecstatic about reaching the 10-year milestone of serving Kansas City communities through community leadership, education and training, scholarships, advocacy and membership. There are a couple of things that set this event apart from others in the metro. First, at this event you will have an opportunity to hear from NCBW-KC community leaders and scholarship recipients as they share their personal stories of triumph and success. Second, all dollars raised at our annual gala stay in Metro Kansas City to help women and girls in need in our community.

We are honored to have Dr. Contessa Metcalfe of T.V. Show, Married to Medicine as our opening speaker and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Demetria McCain as our keynote speaker as we embrace this year’s theme, “Dream Big. Sparkle More. Shine Bright!"

Hosted by Ivani Bing and Shay Moore, Media and Radio Personalities for Cumulus Kansas City Radio/ Magic 107-3, our evening will be filled with a complimentary cocktail reception with entertainment and pictures, a delectable plated 3-course dinner, scholarship & awards ceremony, online silent auction, LIVE Auction with Auctioneer, Live entertainment, DJ and party, fashion & more marketplace vendors and much more.
