Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey (KCFAA) is excited to bring the internationally-renowned modern dance company Ailey II to Kansas City for special performances May 1 -2, 2020 and to kick off its annual fundraising gala. The 2020 Gala is KCFAA's largest single fundraising initiative and a critical component of our budget. Proceeds benefit our year-round education and youth development programs that will teach more than 20,000 children critical life skills through dance in 2020. This year’s Gala theme is “Spring Soiree” and will feature a special performance by Alvin Ailey dancers, an elegant dinner and a dynamic dance party immediately following.
